Registration now open for YES Global Startup Competition - OTEC 2016
YES Global
YES Global is a multinational and exclusive club for young entrepreneurs to share knowledge, experience, and resources. It has an extensive partnership network of government bodies, foremost start-up hubs, commercial businesses, and NGOs.
From June to October each year, YES Global will organize a series of overseas start-up competitions including Overseas Talent Entrepreneurship Conference start-up competition and Shenzhen Nanshan Entrepreneur Star start-up competition and alike to help provide an international and resourceful platform for young international students.
YES Global also provides all kinds of career services and coaching.
OTEC
The Overseas Talent Entrepreneurship Conference (OTEC) is a government-sponsored event in Beijing that aims to connect international entrepreneurs with investment and growth opportunities, and to help them launch their startups in China.
As part of OTEC, a startup competition has been designed to bring global talents to Beijing's Chaoyang District, the foremost startup hub of the capital city. Chaoyang is also home to Beijing's Central Business District, and recent Chinese government policies have been designed to attract international businesses to establish operations in Beijing. In short, this is an unparalleled opportunity for entrepreneurs to gain exposure to China's top resources for business success.
Following last year's success (two teams from UK final won 3rd and 5th places in the Global final in Beijing, and one of them won the angel investment thereafter), UVIC has been appointed to manage OTEC's UK Regional Events again. We would now like to invite you to get on board and share the success.
