Contributing to sustainable development and social responsibility is important to us. In fact, it is highly relevant to our business. UVIC helps clients from all over the world realise their dreams of investing, starting their own businesses, studying and living in the UK. Moreover, we pay special attention to people in need. Through active participation in and support of various charitable institutions and events, we try our best to help change their lives, as well as contribute to development and the creation of a better, more harmonious society.
International China Concern (ICC) is an international charity organisation that is registered in the UK and Hong Kong. Its mission is to change lives by bringing love, hope and opportunity to China’s abandoned and disabled children. ICC believes every child is precious and has the right to be loved, to have hope for the future and the opportunity to realise their dreams.
UVIC has participated in ICC’s charitable activities for a long time. We keep working hard to support disabled children within the Chinese welfare system, raising funds and providing resources. We have sponsored many disabled orphans. It is our constant pursuit to make society as a whole more harmonious and good-hearted.
In the UK, there are more than 30,000 babies who die from genetic disorders each year. Jeans for Genes is a British charity that focuses on genetic disorders and aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders by raising money from jeans donations.
All members of UVIC participated in the fundraising programme of Jeans for Genes.
