2017 welcomes the 8th consecutive UniFair to London and the 2nd UniFair Global to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. UVIC's dedicated UniFair Team continuously strive to provide a bigger, better and more useful experience for everyone attending. In terms of UK Higher Education representation, 2016 was the most successful year yet, and this year won’t be any exception.

Being the largest university fair for international students in the UK, this multifaceted event provides students from around the world with the opportunity to meet the university of their choice, face-to-face. Alongside the traditional university stand format, UniFair also includes:

• The GEx Dialogue - a pre-event panel discussion on key issues surrounding employment and the education industry. Industry professionals and educationalists are invited along for a thought provoking start to the day.

• E-fair - provides an online experience for students that are unable to attend on the day. Live broadcasting, Q&A via an online forum and interaction on social media throughout the day enables UniFair to reach out to a wider audience.

• Fun Fair – gives universities a chance to bring along an interactive display to showcase a particular speciality or research area. 2016 saw a variety of displays, including Virtual Reality (VR) headsets, chocolate artwork, mobile applications designed by students and postcards designed by an artist at the event. The displays not only gave the attending students a fantastic opportunity to interact with the universities, but also add a visual aspect to the online ‘E Fair’.

• Super Mentor – a platform created by UVIC to facilitate interaction between current students and successful graduates & professions. This provides students with the opportunity to gain some helpful advice and tips as they pursue their academic and work-related goals. Just like 2016, many ‘Super Mentors’ will be attending UniFair 2017 to meet students in person and answer any questions they have.

After the success of the inaugural UniFair Global event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in partnership with Facon Education – who have been hosting such events across the region since 1999. This is their signature event, taking place over the weekend at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, perfectly timed to coincide with the end of the STM examination period.

UVIC hosted 11 Universities from the UK under the ‘UK Pavilion’ in 2016.
